For the past 20 years, I have been in the healing arts industry offering Yoga, Massage Therapy and Coaching. I have used facebook during this career to ‘spread the light’ and market my Yoga Studio, Infinite Bliss. Regularly I would offer personal stories, insights, and even music. In the beginning, it was just word posts. As social media evolved, I incorporated photos with personal challenges, then videos and eventually I used the FB Live feature regularly. I really love Facebook Live. It’s a platform that allows me to pulse my extroverted side, even when I’m not around people. Over the years, I’ve become quite the social media whiz.
I find facebook groups fascinating. I got involved with JHJ during a slightly dormant work phase. I was very pregnant with my son Levi. When Aleah said she really needed help with the mundane JHJ group. It began by boosting her posts to the top of the group, and I was thrilled to come on board. At the time, I felt like I was wasting time on social media and coming into the group immediately shifted that perspective.
Since then, what I do for Aleah on JHJ has evolved. Because it is very fast paced and there is a need for expediancy, whatever she asks me to do, I do it as quickly as possible with the least amount of communication. I occasionally offer observations about the group and any ideas that come to mind that might help the inner workings if JHJ.
Lately, my work on JHJ has shifted dramatically as I’ve taken on a few more clients. What I do for these customers is a hands-on overhaul of their social media presence, on and off of JHJ, with the specific goal of being seen more in our beloved group. When people ask what I do, I tell them Niche Marketing for Large Facebook Groups. Within groups, all reach is organic, which is very different than the rest of the facebook world. I’m working on a series of videos that will teach people how to use large groups better. It should be available by July. I hope this will save a lot of time for people and help them make a lot more connections and money.
Into my early college years, my main focus in life was creative writing. When I chose massage as a career, my creative writing fervor faded into social media posts. Now, that is much of what I do for a living. It is refreshing to see this passion emerging from hibernation as I compose posts for people’s personal, business, and group profiles. Last month I went ahead and made it official. Now, I am Brilliant Cut Media. I help people, predominantly Jewelers get seen within large facebook groups.
The biggest reason I love coming to JHJ is because I love to work with Aleah every day. She is not only the queen of JHJ, or the diamond queen. She is the Queen of Massive Action. I learn by doing. My dreams are huge, and I had gotten so relaxed living through my healing arts life. Aleah’s presence has enlivened an important call to action within me. I’m very grateful.
I also love JHJ because it is so different from what I’ve been doing for 20 years. Different people and perspectives, and I’m super inspired all the time by the teamwork and enthusiasm and caring support. It gives me hope for the world in new ways. I also love the crash course in jewelry. Before I came into the group, I knew very little. Being here every day has been a crash course in jewelry, which is very helpful in my life.
In 2018, I married Jaron Siegel, Aleah’s awesome brother, and with him came a tremendously inspiring, tight-knit family of delicious tradition, and a legacy family business of 135 years. Siegel Jewelers of Grand Rapids MI.
I am so blessed, and I count my lucky stars every day.
