Hello! My name is Ronen Goldberg of Aronow & Ross, Inc, and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Israel, not to a diamond Industry family. Most of my younger years were spent as an athlete playing a game called squash. It is a very tough game if anybody knows (P.m. if you don’t and would like to know what squash is). I was a national Junior champion and then became the Israeli men’s number one ranked player five years in a row. I also won a gold medal at the Maccabiah games, which is the equivalent to the Olympic games.
At the age of 22, after serving 3 years in the Israeli Army, I moved to America to work in the diamond industry. I never gave up playing squash and was actually sought after by different clubs here in Los Angeles to play and represent them.
In 2001, I was ranked number one in the US and still an active player. The reason I’m telling my story is because I see my life today as I did when I was a professional athlete. I wake up every day and try and do the best, not just for me, but for the people surrounding me. I believe that the harder you work, the more you will be appreciated, and nothing should be taken for granted.
I want to say thank you to all JHJ members that have supported and have helped me grow. I hope that I have helped you as well. Most of you know me as “the guy that sells studs”. Well in the past six months, I have grown into different avenues and now I am making my own jewelry. I still try to maintain low prices and affordability to the jewelers and to the end user. In addition to my specialty in affordable but yet beautiful studs I’m also making up tennis bracelets, eternity bands, pendants and necklaces. So if you have any questions and would like to see my line I would be more than glad to send over some samples.
Hope to hear from all of you soon!
