During the holidays, desserts are plentiful. This is something simple and easy for the 2020 holiday season.
Preheat oven to 350
First Mix:
- 1 Drama Dairy Pound Cake mix (or whatever brand you wish)
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick of butter
- Mix and spread in a 9 X 13 greased and floured pan (very thick)
Second Mix:
- 1 8oz soft cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 box 10X sugar less ½ cup (use ½ cup later)
- Mix and add to the top of first mix
Sprinkle ¾ cup of almonds to the top of the pan mixes
Bake for about 40 minutes
When done, but still warm, sprinkle ½ cup of 10X sugar on top
