Yes, I am biased, I will readily admit it. But I really look forward to exhibiting in this show twice a year, and I’d love for you to attend, and experience it with me! For 70 years, Atlanta has been the host of the Atlanta Jewelry Show. Known for its unparalleled accessibility, compact walkable entertainment districts, and unlimited attractions for all ages, this vibrant city is the perfect destination. The show’s official sponsor and producer, the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association, is the nation’s oldest association for independent jewelry representatives.
Why do I love the Atlanta Jewelry Show so much? Maybe it’s the friendly and relaxed atmosphere on the show floor, maybe it’s the chance to really connect with vendor friends and retail clients without having to feel like you have to be in a hurry. Maybe it’s the amazing networking opportunities that happen at Mingle! on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings after the show closes. Or maybe it’s just a combination of the above. If you’ve attended the show, you know what I mean. Every time I mention “The Atlanta Show” to an industry friend who has been, they always smile. Because we just know what it means to attend.

If you love learning, then don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of the extensive Atlanta Jewelry Show pre-show education scheduled for Friday, March 6, crafted by Education Director, Cindy Chandler. Thanks to industry powerhouses Diamond Producers Association, Stuller, Instore Marketing, and other industry innovators, this full day of education has been designed to equip jewelers with the tools they need to succeed. “The lineup for March 2020 is second to none, with relevant and practical topics designed to provide real solutions to real challenges,” states Chandler. “The market has changed and retail has changed, so we must change our approach to education in this volatile environment to ensure our audience is always exposed to the most current information in order to be successful.”
In addition to the pre-show education on Friday, interactive sessions are also scheduled throughout the show in learning areas, right on the show floor Saturday and Sunday as well. New for the Spring, 2020 show is the “Ask Me Anything” area, where attendees can chat one-on-one, share pop up training tips, and gain insights in a more intimate setting. “Make sure to check the AJS website and the AJS mobile app, Whova, for up- to-the-minute additions,” adds Chandler.
Executive Director Libby Brown states: “My team and I are thrilled to launch the SOHO Experience at the March event. We are transforming the traditional trade show into a retail-centric experience, making the Spring show a must-attend event year after year. The SOHO experience is designed to take attendees on a familiar journey of the retail jewelry store. We have re-engineered this event, and turned it into an all-new experiential show, unlike anything we’ve seen in the industry. The show floor will captivate attendees with an amazing showcase of products, and deliver fun, memorable and sharable encounters, thereby creating an invaluable resource for the independent jeweler. We plan to accomplish this by providing an abundance of hands-on learning combined with actionable content that is easily applied to the retailer’s daily business operations – all with just the right amount of Southern Hospitality.”
The Atlanta Jewelry Show has consistently offered a wide array of products and service vendors, and the March show will be no exception. I am proud to be exhibiting, along with a record number of new exhibitors and best-selling brands who will be showcasing their latest and greatest designs. AJS anticipates welcoming over 300 vendors to the show floor, ensuring something for everyone.
I’m happy to see one of my favorite experiences at The Atlanta Jewelry Show is continuing to grow as well.
